Principal's Welcome

Welcome to McKinley Charter School!

McKinley Charter School was established in 1996 by the Eau Claire School District.   Since then, McKinley has prided itself in helping to support students develop the skills necessary to find success after high school.  

McKinley has a governing board that meets each month to help create policy that supports innovative approaches to educating the youth that we serve.  Our Board helps to evaluate our programs and ensures that our policies meet the desired outcomes.  We understand that it "takes a village" to help ensure our students are provided with the education they need to achieve their goals, therefore we pride ourselves in having strong ties to the community, offering many services, such as: mentoring, alcohol/tobacco and other drug abuse counseling, mental health supports and career and job training and planning.  
We serve just over 100 students at McKinley, which allows our staff to build strong and meaningful relationships with our students.  In partnership with both our Governance Board and Eau Claire Area School District, it allows our students to access the best chance for success.
