Our Mission and Goals
The mission of the McKinley Charter School is to educate students for responsible behavior in their home, school, and community.
The goals of the McKinley Charter School are:
- To provide a safe environment where students can reach their full potential.
- To provide a program for students whose needs exceed traditional education and social services.
- To provide an environment where students experience success and develop positive self-esteem.
- To provide an integrated academic/vocational/behavioral intervention program.
- To provide a model that will encourage self-discipline and responsible behavior.
- To provide a collaborative service model which will help students develop social and emotional skills and to provide support to their families.
- To model, teach, and reinforce behavior which will foster responsibility in school, at home, and in the community.
- To provide an opportunity to graduate and achieve economic self-sufficiency.
